With their first tournament of the 2nd semester, 494 debuted a new lineup with a familiar result. Junior Chrissy Murphy returned after spending the first semester with 496 and won her first witness award of the year. Senior Scott Shimkus won his first attorney award of his career, leading the defense to a 4-0 result and a final record of 6-2, good for 3rd place.
496 saw their Loyola record win streak stopped against Lake Forest in the 3rd round. After 9 consecutive double ballot wins, 496 ends the invitational season with an 18-1-1 record on defense. After taking a 4-1-1 record into round 4, 496 ended the tournament 4-3-1. Maggie Blake and Sarah Frankiewicz earned indivual awards as attorney and witness, respectively. Even with the disappointing result, 496 leaves their mark as the strongest C team in Loyola history and should be considered a threat in Milwaukee come February.
