For the first time in program history, Loyola had two teams competing at the National Championship. Unfortunately, the bounces didn't go the Ramblers' way as 495 finished 4-4 after splitting every round, and 494 went 2-6. 495 split with Eastern Kentucky, Hamilton, Virginia, and Princeton. 494 lost 0-2 against Northwestern and Southern California before splitting against UC-San Diego and Rochester.
