For the first time ever, Loyola sent a team to compete at the Xavier University Invitational. The result was a 4-4 record for a team comprised of both veterans and new mockers. The first day was the one to forget - the team lost two ballots to Miami (-12, -3) and Bellarmine (-5, -4). Rebounding from the rough start, the team took all four ballots on day two from Wake Forest (+15, +2) and Xavier (+15, +7). The Ramblers hope their next trip to Cincinnati is a more successful one - the city is the host of this season's National Championship Tournament next April.
